Sir, I have a question and would be grateful if you could advise. I want to take PSIR as optional and have seen the syllabus. I don’t have a background in PSIR but have interest in Part B of both papers. However, Part A is very new to me. Before I make this decision, I want to read a book and see if my analysing or comprehension is good enough for this subject. I want to read a book for a few days before making this decision. Please suggest which book should I pick up to just see if this subject is something that I can go ahead with? Will political ideologies by Heywood be a kind of good litmus test?
