Dani Chiong says:

I cannot wait for Wayward Son!!! Rainbow Rowell writes Baz in particular with such love you can just tell how much she cares for him as a character, I remember finishing Carry On and thinking that there had to be some kind of sequel one day…I screamed when Wayward Son was announced!

Joeannie Valentin says:

Aside from the point that you gave for Girls of Paper and Fire. I found the book to be such a build up to a very anticlimactic ending. It makes u anticipate the “big scene” but it turns out it was just shoved in the last two chapters and not as dramatic as i THOUGHT it was going to be.Also i think the author said it was to be a trilogy.

Katie'sBookCorner says:

Heather, I saw the thumbnail and just felt… immensely proud of you for finally reading Carry On?

Like, there’s the most epic reader mom on booktube, tackling that TBR pile like a boss.

baby doll says:

Ok but is there anyone who also didn’t like carry on at all? I felt so bad when i was writing my review on goodreads but…it’s just wasn’t good in my opinion

Lisa Smith says:

Definitely sounds like Divergent.

A Court of Crowns and Quills says:

Lovely reviews, Heather! Thank you for buddy reading Four Dead Queens with me! Also I’m so happy you read Carry On. We must read Wayward Son together when it comes out! Xx

Anna Portillo says:

Girls of paper and fire was my favorite book of 2018. I was thinking about it long after I finished it and when I had to return it at the library, I had a hard time letting go of it. Loved the friendships and I loved the romance.

Vanessa Marie says:

Great reviews! I agree not every fantasy book needs a romance. I was planning on doing a discussion video on this topic soon. Have you seen Francina Simone’s video, Romance is Ruining Fantasy. It’s a really good discussion. Here’s the link in case you want to check it out: https://youtu.be/OEPxeDTOAcI

Debbie Fisher says:

I couldn’t get in to Girls of Paper and Fire at all. I liked the initial premise but just too dark for me.

Reading and Dreaming says:

I just read Carry On and loved it! It’s so amazing how it was supposed to be a fic of the final book in the Simon Snow series and I didn’t feel lost at all. I was disappointed with Girls of Paper and Fire though – it got super trope heavy and predictable at the end and I just wanted more from it.

Debra Lavoie says:

I love your reviews! Thanks

Kristen Rupp says:

could you do an adult fantasy vidoe or do you already have one?

Karen says:

I love this new concept!

Steven Harris says:

Would anyone like to review my novel?

BookishBelle says:

I need to read Fan Girl. I always pick it up at Barnes and Noble and then get something else instead.

Girls of Paper and Fire has been on my TBR since I received it in a OwlCrate. I am surprised though that Owlcrate included such a heavy book. I like heavy reads though.
