Man, you are gonna enjoy the first part of 2666 so much 😀
I´m gonna read Diaz´s article. I love Osca Wao. But recent allegations of Diaz´s sexual assault and misbehavior for years (check particularly Alisa Valdes´s blog post https://tinyurl.com/ycrpryw7) let me down. To see one of my heroes became a villain fucking hurts. Love your channell.
You missed how several women have come out about abusive and misogynistic behavior at the hands of Diaz, and I think it’s unfortunate that you omitted that from this video, because a pretty interesting discussion has arisen as a result of Diaz implicitly using his past as an excuse for the cruel sexist behavior he exhibits as an adult.
Prose is architecture and baroque is out of style.
Hello, Signor Bookchemist. I’m a new subscriber and fellow Pynchonoid. You might find this event in May interesting: Pynchon in Public Day.

I’ve posted your channel to the Pynchon in Public Facebook page. They’ll love you there!
Been thinking about the accusations against Diaz and his whole situation a lot lately, and thought of you. Otherwise interesting links, thanks.
I only like overwritten, lyrical prose. 😉
Nice tyranid prince in the background!
Do you read black library books?
Dear Mr. The Bookchemist,
Will you ever review Tosltoy, Dostoyevsky, Orwell, Huxley, Bradbury? I find your reviews to be fascinating and it would be great if you could share with us your opinions on those authors and their books. Your reviews are valued. They are valid. Thank you for making videos
