Stereophonic Vision says:

I want to read “Maurice”, I watched the adaptation and it’s beautiful. I recommend the adaptation.

Sylvia Nguyen says:

I’ve read Giovanni’s Room and was conflicted with the traumatic events enflicted upon the characters.

I’m about to start Tell the Wolves I’m Home which has a homosexual character in it I believe. I’ve heard it is such an inviting and warm read so here’s hoping it is a good one! Have you read it or heard of it?

Lydia Holmes says:

So I was just thinking about emailing you with something a little bit gay in the subject line, and I checked your channel and look at what I found! 8D (This is an excellent video and I really do appreciate you going to the effort of making it!)

Ta for reminding me to read a few books I haven’t gotten around to yet. And I think it’s time I reread Giovanni’s Room, too. c:

Ashleigh McCaskill says:

You had me at queer fish. Lovely to hear your voice again! Wish there were more queer fish in the sea – both in the real world and the fictional world. Count of Monte Cristo has subtext lesbians and I can’t remember if you’ve read Sarah Waters latest novel or not but that was damn good. Anything Ali Smith is always a good shout, at least for me. Ah. I needed this video. Thank you <3

genisveil says:

Great list.
Gonna check out, “I loved you more”.

Verónica Laeddis says:

The idea of the video is beyond amazing and I’d love to see a second part or something like this in the future!

I read “The Thirteenth Tale” a few years ago and I remember a lesbian plot there but I’ve been reading reviews just to make sure and apparently it was just my imagination. Anyway I think it’s a book you would enjoy reading :’)

Kathleen Ann says:

Great list! I’ve read quite a few and agree that Fingersmith is brilliant. I’d add A Separate Peace to this list. I’ve always thought that Phinneas’ roommate had more than just admiration for him. Have you read it? I’d be curious to hear your opinion on this if you have.

nerdieone1 says:

‘I Loved You More’ sounds like it’s going to break my heart. I adored Song of Achilles. 🙂

Jessica Kearney says:

I’ve just discovered your channel, it’s great! You’ve convinced me to buy so many books already (The Song of Achilles has just arrived in fact). I love Sarah Waters; I’ve read The Little Stranger, The Night Watch, The Paying Guests and Affinity and they’re all great but I really want to read Fingersmith! Oh and The Colour Purple is one of my favourite books. I’ve just finished Carol which I really enjoyed and I also really love A Single Man by Christopher Isherwood.

Lil's Vintage World says:
