Stacy's Stories says:

I could only get through 100 pages of it. I was born in 1977, so I was a kid through the 80s. These characters were so far from authentic. That’s not how people acted back then. Also couldn’t stand the writing style. I wanted to love it. It just didn’t work for me.

The Horror Miser Monty G says:

That’s an interesting way to a story in a book Vicky. It depends if that will keep the reader engaged and if that style of writing for a book will drive the narrative. I do like the fact that somewhat based upon the Scobby Do Gang.

Hallow Wheatley says:

Great review. Sounds fun and the art is so cool. I’m super interested in the Creepy Book Club, definitely going to have to get the next few books to join in!

Ariel fangirl Mendez says:

Where can get this book?

Horror Cash says:

There was this rad scary kids show called Eerie Indiana when I was kid. For books I really liked this author Christopher Pike. Always thought his books influenced Scream and all its ripoffs.

Audra Monzon says:

I had to DNF this book twice.

Jason’s Weird Reads says:

I was big into Scooby Doo as a kid, but didn’t really read any YA horror as a kid. This book sounds like a lot of fun, though.

graveyard agogo says:

This book was awesome! Makes me want to watch Scooby doo zombie island.

Ben Grimm says:

It kind of reminds me of the Mystery Incorporated Scooby Doo show that was on a couple of years ago. The last couple of episodes deal with the Scooby Gang dealing with some Love craft stuff that’s real.

aZuuL says:

Shows I grew up with: Scooby-Doo, The Famous Five, Are You Afraid of the Dark, The Storyteller, Amazing Stories, Goosebumps, …
I also saw the movie “Young Sherlock Holmes” a lot !

Chris Wright says:

Great review. I’ve been thinking about picking this book up, and I’m definitely going to grab it the first chance I get. I’m also going to try and get my hands on the other books in the Creepy Book Club on Goodreads so I can join in the discussions.

Jack Reilly says:

I didn’t really do the horror books as a kid, but I remember reading and being creeped out by “Skeleton Man” by Joseph Bruchac.
