oodles of books says:

Congrats on a new baby! I like watching children book videos because I work with children, but don’t have any of my own.

Cherrie Walker says:

Great video I have a 3 year old daughter who adores books and a 3 week old son who I’m sure will love books too so these kinds of videos are perfect for me!! I definitely reccommend Julia Donaldson books like The Gruffalo, stick man, the smartest giant in town etc, my daughter loves them and they have great illustrations!

Beyond Words says:

Oh my, I remember reading Frindle! It was good, I hope you/your son will love it <3

brianna hislop says:

One by Kathryn Otoshi is an amazinnnnng book! She also has “two” and “zero” but One is my daughters favorite. The books use colors and numbers as the characters. One is about bullying and it only taking “one” to make a difference by standing up to a bully. I promise you it’s a must!

Loren Martin says:

The man in the moon by William Joyce, Pretty little Lilly and the magical night by Ashley Hornsly, and Mr brown can moo! Can you? By Dr. Seuss these are my children’s go to books every time they get to choose. Congrats on your little one.

A Bookish Balance says:

I’m so glad you like the book!!!!!!!!

Michael Spitz says:

My son is four and I read middle grade books to him and a lot of the books I’ve read are ones I read as a younger kid. As far as recommendations go; Jan Brett is really good, any storybook collections are always good, and Little Golden Books.
I’ve also found books with beautiful illustrations catch my eye more.

So exciting!! I remember crying reading Guess How Much I Love You when I was pregnant and even shortly after. My favorite board books are the Leslie Patricelli books. We have so many! Simple pictures and short sentences to get the message across. Love them for potty training, holidays and behavioral things. Definitely check them out!!

Unphilosophize says:

I love children’s books! Can’t wait to hear about all the fun you have reading with your new baby. I work in my cities NICU and we always give our parents books to help them get started.

lykaiosreads says:

I’m excited to see your children’s books reviews in the future! I love children’s literature, it always feels like home and I’m lucky to have siblings & cousins from 2 to 10 years old that I can buy them for! Oliver Jeffers is one of my favourite picture book authors/illustrators and his newest book Here We Are is also a book for the soon-to-be-here and recently arrived. 🙂 Benji Davies, Chris Riddell, Shirley Huges, Ian Whybrow & Tony Ross have some fun books too, and also Journey by Aaron Becker is a wonderful trilogy of silent picture books 🙂

Yowahana says:

The new kids books look so adorable! Congratulations and I wish you the best of luck on being a new mommy

Bookables says:

I’ve done a couple of kids books videos on my channel, but I’ve called them Noah’s favorite books and mostly I just talk about the illustrations and what then stories about! So maybe wait until he develops some actual favorite books then talk about them
Or just talk about your fave kids books! I love kids books!!! I just wish I didn’t read 50 of them a day! So excited
For you!!!

Jack Literary Corner says:

The Velveteen Rabbit and The Little Blue Truck.

Katie Thrash says:

Love his video! I have a 10 month old boy, so I would love to see reviews, suggestions, and all things kid related! For recommendations, my son loves all the If you give … series. He loves the LLama LLama series and the Little Blue Truck series as well! I also recommend the ‘ Click, Clack, Moo Cows that Type’ Book and other books by that author that kind of go along with it. Those are all his favorites. We get books from our library regularly and he loves story time.

Lea McClenaghan says:

When I was younger I used to love this story called Tales of 5 Balloons, it’s originally written in Hebrew but I’m sure you can find the English translation. If you can I really recommend it, I absolutely adored it. I also loved the Swan’s Trumpet by E.B White, it was one of my favourite books to read when I was able to read on my own. There’s also Peter and the Wolf or Ferdinand the Bull. I hope this helps and I hope you have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Kate Hickey says:

For when your son is a bit older, I’d really recommend Andrea Beaty’s books, like Rosie Revere, Engineer; Ada Twist, Scientist; and Iggy Pack, Architect. They’re adorable kids stories that are based around historical figures and are about sort STEM fields. They’re VERY cute.

Lydia Walker says:

My 3 year old nephew loves Dr. Seuss books

agentswarley says:

I personally love children books, so I’ll definitely would watch more of these videos, if you decide to make them 🙂 a book I absolutely love is: Little I-Am-Me.
It’s a German kids book about a phantasy animal that tries to find out who it is and where it belongs. But it doesn’t look like any of the other animals which first makes it really sad. But then it realizes, that it is itself (that’s why it’s called I-Am-Me) and that it is special in its own way. So basically it’s about how to find and accept yourself. It’s written in rhyme and illustrated. This book comes with a great message to kids and adults alike and I still like to read it to this day. It should be available in English. All the best to you!

Jessica Brasseal says:

My daughter always loved There’s a Wocket in my Pocket by Dr Seuss. It was her favorite board book. She’s 6 now and loves The Magic Treehouse and Junie B Jones series.

darby degroat says:

I have been wanting to start a goodreads list or something of all the books my kids and i have read together just to keep track of them… has anyone else done anything like this?

Donna M says:

My son really enjoys the “How Do Dinosaurs…” books by Jane Yolen. Any book by Eric Carle is great. I also reccomened board books with different sensory items in it. Babies love those! I have 6 kids and they all love those 🙂

HardbackHaven says:

Aw fun! My kids really enjoy the magic treehouse books.
My youngest son’s favorite book is I Love You Stinky Face – we’re on our second copy because we wore out the first lol so stinking cute! Highly recommend!
Looking forward to more kiddo book videos from ya! ☺️

Annedrie says:
