Wow! Thanks for sharing. I feel a new world is open to me. You are such an intelligent woman!
You know, I never got into fiction…so I still have no clue what the hype around 50 Shades of Grey is.
Can you share an update on what books you’ve read more recently that you found helpful/interesting? Maybe even just on Instagram or FB? Thanks so much, Amber
They are so inspirational!
Maybe too personal to ask but here goes: what is your business? Possibility making these GREAT videos? Thanks
You r brilliant
oh my goodness you are like my soul sister!! I only like business books hahah
Thank you! Please do more videos related to business and becoming an entrepreneur.
The music made it feel like it was gunna end after every book >< Thank god it didn't!
In the vein of customer service, which I agree with you, is sorely lacking in much of today’s business, is a book I enjoyed called “A Complaint Is A Gift” by Janelle Barlow and Claus Moller. It argues that a complaint is not something to be viewed as a negative, but can indeed be a strategic tool to bring about positive change, and if well managed, can transform an irate customer into your most loyal customer and biggest advocate.
Thanks – I am working on it!
You need to read ZMOT (the zero moment of truth) by google, completely free, it will change the way you think of how people aproach your brand. I am currently loving it, I have it on the ipad, and though I dont read it every day, it’s a great book to read when you are feeling lost. Hope you like it!
Love you and your videos. As an entrepreneur myself, I recommend Start With Why by Simon Sinek. He did a very popular TED Talk and I read his book. It is brilliant!
Thank you Mellissa
You are welcome!

My husband has a small business, and I think the books you shared would more helpful rather than the text book type he has on hand now. Thank you.
Thanks a lot for sharing
10 minute manager is a true classic…and helps you be a better boss, parent, friend…
for customer service, see if you can find the out of print Positively Outrageous Service by T. Scott Gross….my wife and I used this is both our very different businesses and although I no longer work in the real world (I am in academia now), I remember this book as my “bible”. Never loved the EMyth but it is a long standing hit so what do I know about that.
Awesome! Never too early to start making the list 🙂
Text books are highly theoretical. I find these books really help establish context and give you good, practical ideas.
Thanks for sharing these book ideas, now I know what to add to Christmas wish list! 🙂
Cool – I am going to look that book up! I totally agree with you on that!
