“The Art Of The Deal” Book Review

So, a lot of you know that I like to read a lot of books that are considered strange. I’ve read a lot of books that could be interpreted as “WTF John?”, such as My Big TOE and Dianetics. So… What one Earth could I read to make you feel more than that?

What about Donald’s Trump book? Yeah, I decided to give it a shot. And here is my book review.

Here is the book description, extracted from Amazon:
Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump lays out his professional and personal worldview in this classic work-a firsthand account of the rise of America’s foremost deal-maker.

“I like thinking big. I always have. To me it’s very simple: If you’re going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big.”-Donald J. Trump

Here is Trump in action-how he runs his organization and how he runs his life-as he meets the people he needs to meet, chats with family and friends, clashes with enemies, and challenges conventional thinking. But even a maverick plays by rules, and Trump has formulated time-tested guidelines for success. He isolates the common elements in his greatest accomplishments; he shatters myths; he names names, spells out the zeros, and fully reveals the deal-maker’s art. And throughout, Trump talks-really talks-about how he does it. Trump: The Art of the Deal is an unguarded look at the mind of a brilliant entrepreneur-the ultimate read for anyone interested in the man behind the spotlight.

Reading the Art of the Deal makes me realize he is probably more liberal than Clinton.

I’ve always liked Trump as the great Entrepreneur that he is. Now I even like him as a politician and I hope he wins the White House! 40 years of creating jobs for thousands of people … it’s all he needs to get elected.

Nicholas Brown says:

TRUMP IS THE BEST PRESIDENT IN US HISTORY! His team/ cabinet is the top ppl ever. His presidency is THE ART OF THE DEAL! Gotta admit, he’s consistent and syill follows the same philosophy. Amazing book brother. For 30 yrs people have asked him why he hasn’t ran for president starting with Oprah. Reagan shook his hand when he was president ane Reagen said he felt like he just shook the presidents hanf. Trump is a damn savont genius! !!! ●Won against ALL odds!

dfilion3 says:

It’s so strange. I was doing my jogging yesterday and I had this book popup in my mind thinking I should read it. Today I see the review. Another one of these “coincidence”.

Lillian Killingbeck says:

What do you think of the coauthor of “Art of the Deal” (Tony Schwartz) coming onto CNN to speak with Anderson Cooper tonight stating Donald Trump is going to resign soon and if not the next month he’ll resign in a year. Schwartz stated that he worked with Trump for 15 years and said Trump in his resignation speech, will say that he did the best that he could and will blame people (mainly mainstream media) for his failures. I’d love to hear your take on this.

Btw, I love your videos.

Shadid Haque says:

Good review john. Love your book reviews. Just started this one on audible. BTW he is the president lol.

“How to Fail at Debates” – Donald Trump 🙂

Radioactive FistFoot says:

You should add some disclaimer for the social justice guys in the tile, they will have a heart attack hearing that you said anything positive about Trump.

Egyptian says:

Crippled America is great too! More politically biased but he has great ideas.

Jonathan SumAKAGoogleSearch-arma2oa says:

Trump of couse he is a great bussiness man. I think i will check out his book to learn his skills later. However, i don’t think that he is a good president ,and i think the U.S. is going to have big problem once he is the president. I understand that he is smart and strong. However, he doesn’t really have moral in his heart ,and he only knows how to make more money. With a smart and powerful guy who without morality in his heart becoming a president is going to create a disaster. I am very sure that he is going to become our next president. We will see what we will have.

Felix T-Rex says:

The Art of the Con…. Trump is a sickness that has infected the world….

BMWg84 says:

Take politics out of it, the book is phenomenal

Felix T-Rex says:

If I had all the money Trump got from his dad and let it sit on the stock market, I would have more money than Trump. Trump is a USELESS businessman

Flavia Felix says:

Great book, read it few years back. Good insight in working of great business mind.

D says:

how is it ghostwritten when there are two names on the cover. And if you read the book you will realize thats Trump life not the “ghostwriter”. Who came out after 30 years when Trump is the nominee to say he is a fraud lol. Trump father was a millionaire who had 5 children. Guess what? only 1 of them was able to become a billionaire and it was Donald Trump. Many people inherit or win lotteries and get millions of dollars. Do they turn it to billions? no, most end up losing all of it. Remember folks, do a little critical thinking instead of relying on media headlines.

Felix T-Rex says:

He didn’t write the book. He had a ghost writer write it for him

TechStacker says:

John, I’m not shocked that you review this book all, it makes perfect sense to read for any person interested in topics of risk assessment, psychology and the persuasion tactics of great dealmakers — which is something a lot of us would benefit from.

But I know exactly what you’re referring to in the beginning, you’re not supposed to say anything good about Trump, because that makes you a horrible person, remember that, because the clickbait headlines of mainstream media told you so!

ChrisP872 says:

A bunch of false information already in the comments.

Trump was already rich before his father Fred died in 1999.
Trump tower was built in the early 80s.

Obviously Trump’s father helped him but still, MOST people cannot turn a few Million into several Billion. Trump is actually a terrific business man. Read the book if you doubt it.
