Book Review of Pride by Ibi Zoboi is a Pride and Prejudice-inspired love story that discusses gentrification with a young romance.
Pride and Prejudice gets remixed in this smart, funny, gorgeous retelling of the classic, starring all characters of color, from Ibi Zoboi, National Book Award finalist and author of American Street.

Have you read Ibi Zoboi’s book American Street? I read it in September. It was so intense, especially for a YA book, but very good.

Still not sure I want to pick this one up yet. Sounds interesting though. Question: Do you speak French or Haitian French?
